Rafael is a 27yo world traveler. He is a wine DNAed person and I worked in the luxury hospitality at The Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, Kempinski and michelin stars in 5 countries. He currently owns a Wine Bar downtown Porto, a Wine Truck and a vineyard as well.  When he travels he either backpacks or do 5* spots. He either gets adventurous or gets lazy and wants to relax.  His motto is wine is the only thing that can save the world.  He lives in Porto, Portugal and speaks English, Español, Français, Português.

About the experience

Learn about wine from the comfort of your home! Here we will learn how red and white wine are made, how they differ, and most importantly, how to choose when you buy wine to enjoy at home. You would be amazed how people generally shop wine in a wrong way. We will then mention the main grapes and main regions of the world for those grapes, as well as the differences between them followed by some wine and food pairing (yes you will learn how to do michelin stars food and wine pairing)! You might believe that all those tastings and all those vineyard visits you did taught you something. Just read the reviews and notice how most people believed the same untill they did this. The recommended wine and cheese below are not mandatory, but it does make the experience better.  This will give you all the tools you need to be a better wine buyer. In the US and the UK Rafeal can arrange wine to be shipped to your home - The recommended wines and cheeses will be sent in the confirmation email and they are a guideline, you can use whatever suits you best. - Spots are per person and not per screen as it will make a better and more personalized experience to have 1 person per screen.
